The BJP is headed for a landslide victory winning 103 wards while the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress bagged 26 and 8 seats respectively in initial results of MCD polls.
Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken took moral responsibility for the party's defeat in the civic polls and announced he was resigning.
The BJP was set to sweep the Delhi civic polls, leading in over 140 wards and has won six wards so far, according to the Delhi State Election Commission.
The municipal elections in Delhi were "foundational elections" for the Swaraj India Party and leaders have "zero expectations" of winning any seat.
The BJP was leading in 110 wards, the AAP in 28 and the Congress in 23 wards.
The high-stakes civic polls were held on Apr 23 which saw a voter turnout of 53.58 per cent.
"The Lt Governor's order to pay Rs 97 crore is totally wrong. We will challenge the order in the court," Kejriwal said.
The nephew of an AAP MLA booked for allegedly assaulting a Swaraj India worker in southeast Delhi's Tughlakabad area during the MCD polls.
Macron was projected to win between 23 and 24% in first round, slightly ahead of Le Pen with between 21.6 and 23%.
