Food, Fashion Will Be Main Focus: Kishore Biyani

September 26: Future Group’s Kishore Biyani has had to take some tough calls by selling strong brands and shutting several others to save his company from sinking. “Indians did not know what model would work and the recession has helped evolve a better business model,” he says, adding that he is aiming at 30% gross margins for Big Bazaar. “We created three strong balance sheets and restructured to create food and fashion segments as well as new products and brands,” he adds.
