September 4: Commodity Broking Services MD Jonathan Barratt says oil prices will remain relatively well-bid as long as the uncertainty of a US strike continues. If there is a limited strike, there will be a short and steep spike, but protracted trade could get other countries involved, he warns. “We are also watching OPEC for any regional involvement; the key is what action and how long it will take,” he adds.
