September 24: If Indians are not investing in India, why will foreign investors come, asks Ravi Shankar Prasad, Deputy Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha. “Multiple factors had been hurting global investor sentiment, but retro amendment was the final tipping point,” he says, adding that after forcing the investor to go to court and get a decision, the government didn’t respect that. “Many problems can be solved if we have a government and leader that mean business,” he adds.
