August 7: Kenneth Andrade, Head – Investment at IDFC MF, says, “Data points indicate that India is imploding. This is happening after a period of huge growth led by investments, but now capex is virtually dead in India.” Weak currency is the result of a lack of action, he says, adding that if we don’t rectify this, we will be in a sticky situation.
