Ananth Narayan, Wholesale Banking – South Asia, Standard Chartered Bank, feels that bond yields will gravitate around the 8.5 mark until the rupee stabilizes. He also expects the rupee to be extremely volatile. “It is a time for market participants to take a deep breath and not get caught in the panic,” he says, adding that things should settle down soon enough.
