The latest development in the NSEL issue is that the FMC has ordered that all the assets of the defaulters who have failed to make the payment obligation on time, should be liquidated. Furthermore, the FMC has also observed that the NSEL has not been forthcoming and has not initiated any action against the defaulters in this scenario.
