August 28: Many factors are fuelling the commodities rally, including a weak US dollar, says Robindranath Bhar, Head of Commodities Research at SocGen. Gold is rising on speculation that the US withdrawal of quantitative easing will be delayed and the crude rally is due to violence in Syria. He expects crude to be rangebound as it is more supply fears rather than tight supply itself that is driving the market now.
