August 28: Timothy Moe, Chief Asia-Pacific Equity Strategist at Goldman Sachs, points to a revision in the organisation’s India target from overweight in the beginning of the year to underweight in July. “We’re keeping a flexible outlook towards India because of the external imbalances and the currency uncertainty. Markets are facing challenging cyclical conditions and we also expect further weakness,” he says.
