Dollar To Gain, See More Downside For Rupee: Tai Hui

September 10: Tai Hui, Chief Market Strategist Asia at JPMorgan Funds, says dollar is likely to strengthen going forward with the Fed being the first to normalize policy and an improved current account deficit. However, those markets with high CAD will see more pain, he says. “While the rupee is at extremely attractive valuations now, it is likely to see more of a downside due to a lack of investor confidence, Fed action and political uncertainty,” he adds.
