September 13: John Woods, Chief Investment Strategist at Citibank, sees Fed QE tapering of $10 billion, which will lead to bond yield volatility across the G7 space. He expects an ongoing impact on emerging markets, but says most of the tapering concerns have already been priced in. The EM to DM fund flow trend and EM sell-offs will continue, he says, but adds that tapering could have a positive impact on countries with a global growth story, while the rest will see temporary valuation spikes.
