Raju Ramachandran, Senior SC Advocate says that Tribunalisation has a good principle but is being handled badly, Ramchandran said. He believes that appointments in tribunals should be made strictly on merit. “One cannot blame only the government for vacancies in tribunals,” he said, adding that the judiciary needs to recommend names for appointments to tribunals.
