September 17: Deutsche Bank’s Taimur Baig says the US forecast for 2013 has been revised downward by the Fed in recent months. “It is not just about the economic headline data from the US but the underlying momentum, which indicates it is time to slow the scale of asset purchases,” he says. Markets expectations seem to have converged around the $10-15 billion reduction and a dovish forward guidance, he adds.
