September 17: While RBI would want to start the new governor’s regime with changes to support sentiment, this policy meet would likely have a more sobering note, says Taimur Baig of Deutsche Bank. “There is very little RBI can do to turn around growth momentum now,” he says, adding things are worse than they were a few months ago, which doesn’t leave room for the RBI to play around with policy.
