September 20: The market rebound was driven mainly by the RBI’s measures, says Nandkumar Surti of JPMorgan AMC referring to the steep dive in markets post the RBI’s policy decision. Now markets have been reduced to fundamentals, which will drive the market here on, he adds. “And I don’t see markets reacting to rates but to the policy measures,” he says, adding that if the measures like speeding up projects continue, markets should improve.
