State Govt Keen To Move On Road Projects: Anil Swarup

September 23: Anil Swarup, Head of the Project Monitoring Group, says the group is monitoring 20 projects from the road sector. “These projects face issues with regard to land acquisition, environment and forest clearances and law and order,” he says, adding that we need to engage with state governments to push these through. State governments are keen to get road projects going but they have issues, which the PMG seeks to discuss and resolve, he adds.
