October 8: We anticipate more corporate downgrades going forward, says Pawan Agrawal, Senior Director at CRISIL Ratings. He says demand slowdown and liquidity are the main causes for weak ratings, and the economic slowdown is adding the corporate stress. Agricultural growth will be higher than last year, export-driven sectors, telecom operators and some parts of the auto sector will hold up well, he adds.
