October 15: According to a report by Prime Database, IPOs in the first half of this financial year have raised only Rs.1,050 crore. Prithvi Haldea, MD at Prime Database, says IPOs don’t happen overnight and secondary markets need to be stable for this, which hasn’t happened. However, to say companies don’t need money in India is a complete myth, he adds.
