SEBI Acts Against Cos Violating Public Holding Norms

On May 31, Bloomberg TV India had reported that Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has cracked the whip on promoters of 105 companies that failed to meet minimum public holding norms. The market regulator has frozen their voting rights and barred them from any market dealings.
