February 12: Piramal Enterprises announced an alliance with a Canadian pension fund to provide rupee debt financing to residential projects. The real estate fund arm of Piramal, Indiareit, will act as an advisor to the deal. Jayshree Pyasi caught up with the Chairman of Piramal Group, Ajay Piramal and he mentioned that the company is also on the lookout for an investing partner in Indiareit. Piramal also spoke about exiting the Vodafone tie-up very soon.
