April 21: In a panel discussion with Vivek Law, Assocham President Rana Kapoor, IMF’s Thomas Richardson, ICRIER’s Rajat Kathuria and Radico Khaitan’s Lalit Khaitan discuss the immediate priorities for the next Finance Minister. Kapoor says that the new government must communicate that it can solve problems. On the other hand, Richardson points out that there is a strong case for modernising tax administration in India.
