Patna: Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi on Saturday shocked the visitors at a restaurant in Patna when he suddenly arrived there to have dosa and coffee. He was in the city to attend the hearing in a defamation case.
After attending the hearing at the Patna Civil Court, Gandhi reached a local restaurant in Maurya Lok situated Basant Vihar. When he suddenly came in people present there were amazed to see him.
The eatery then turned in a selfie-point as people started taking selfies with him. Gandhi also interacted with the children and families present there.
Gandhi was accompanied by Shakti Singh Gohil, MP Akhilesh Singh, Premchand Mishra, Ajit Singh and others.
He later left for the airport.
Congress leader Premchand told reporters that Rahul discussed future strategies with party leaders and took stock of the problems in Bihar.
Gandhi was in the city to attend the hearing in a defamation case in which the court has granted him bail.
