IOC Chairman Sanjiv Singh, told BTVI, “Physical performance of IOCL in Q3 has been good. Refineries had a record throughput and fuel losses was at an all-time low. The sales volume has been higher in Q3. Inventory losses in Q3 stood at INR 6,600 cr. Don't expect crude prices to fluctuate much in Q4. Expect better profit margins in Q4 if crude prices remain in present day range. Venezuelan supplies to global markets have come down by 1/3rd of the volume they usually supply.”
