Arvind Fashions Plans To Open 150 New Stores In Smaller Towns

Arvind Fashions posted weak June quarter numbers, with loss widening to Rs 97.6 crore, against Rs 15.9 crore in the year-ago period, revenue falling 10.5 per cent at Rs 901 crore and EBITDA margin down at 2.2 per cent vs 4 per cent. Speaking to BTVI, Kulin Lalbhai, Director at Arvind Fashions, said the firm saw one-time impact of Rs 68 crore because of exiting four brands. Talking on the expansion plans, he said the firm plans to open 150 new stores across brands in smaller towns. Here's more.
