March 3: February auto sales saw four-wheeler majors report muted sales despite duty cuts. Maruti's sales fell 0.4% as exports tumbled over 19%, M&M was hit by poor utility vehicle sales, while Tata’s sales plunged 36%. The silver lining was a pickup in passenger vehicle sales and exports.
