September 2: Commodities have pulled back as Syria tensions ease, says Juerg Kiener, Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at Swiss Asia Capital. Referring to the impact of Fed QE tapering, he says there is a change in global interest rates, which makes capital more expensive. “In such a situation, money flowing from fixed income is finding a home in equities and commodities,” he adds.
