Ethanol push to help divert resources from sugar production

Avinash Verma, Director General of ISMA, talks about rise in ethanol production in India and says that there is enough feedstock in the country to scale up production from 355 crore litres to 700 crore litres in about 2 years. He adds that moving a bulk of sugar for ethanol production will not only help deal with surplus sugar, but will also help stabilise prices.
