FADA Sees Recovery In Commercial & Passenger Vehicle Segments To Take Time

The retail sales of passenger vehicles (PV) in July dropped by 11 per cent year-on-year to 243,183 units, two-wheeler sales by 5 per cent and commercial vehicle (CV) sales dropped by 14 per cent to 23,118, according to the Federation Of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA). Speaking to BTVI, FADA's Vice President Vinkesh Gulati said slowdown in the auto sector is not only cyclical, but also due to some structural issues. He expects recovery in CV and PV segments to take time. Here's more.
