Sudhin Choksey, MD at Gruh Finance, talks about the firm’s Q4 earnings. He says yields have remained steady for the past 2-3 quarters, but cost of funds increased nearly 90 bps in the last quarter affecting growth. He adds that the firm does not expect cost of funds to improve in a major way going forward. Choksey also adds that the opportunity for short-term borrowing is also not much currently. He says he expects NII to improve as liquidity in system eases.
