HEG Expects Steel & Electrode Prices To Stabilise Going Forward

Graphite electrode maker HEG posted weak June quarter numbers with profit falling by 69 per cent to Rs 243 crore on lower realizations, and revenue down 48 per cent at Rs 816 crore. Speaking to BTVI, Manish Gulati, COO and CMO, HEG, said steel demand is witnessing a global slowdown, but the company expects steel and electrode prices to stabilise going ahead. Here's more.
