Lufthansa Airlines Fined Rs.1 Lk For Negligence

August 13: West Bengal State Consumer Commission rapped Lufthansa Airlines for sheer negligence and causing mental agony after losing a passenger’s luggage. Ordering the airline to compensate the passenger with Rs.1 lakh for all the hardships faced, the commission said the airline is responsible for the passenger and his luggage.
