Mere Apology Not Enough: SC

March 10: The Supreme Court has recently ruled that an apology by contemnors is not enough to get away with disobeying the court's orders. The first test of the precedence set by the ruling was reflected in SEBI's contempt plea against Sahara. Incidentally, both orders have been written by Justice Radhakrishnan who is heading the two member bench hearing Sahara’s contempt matter. Ashpreet Sethi shares a detailed report on the same.
