SIP inflows up by 2%, liquid funds aid robust inflows: NS Venkatesh, AMFI

NS Venkatesh, CEO of AMFI, gives an review of April data. He says inflows were mainly supported by liquid funds and total inflows in Mutual Funds industry stood at around Rs 1 lakh crore. He added that net inflows stood at around around Rs 4,600 crore in equity funds, which saw a substantial slip. He added that investors are squaring off their positions without waiting for macro headwinds to pass. Current SIP inflows stand at Rs 8,250 crore, reflecting an upward growth, he said.
