March 26: The Supreme Court has granted Subrata Roy Sahara bail on the condition that it deposited Rs.10,000 crore upfront. The apex court said Sahara must deposit Rs.5,000 crore as bank guarantee to SEBI and Rs.5,000 crore in cash. Soli Sorabjee, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court, said the order was sensible and pragmatic and that we should wait and see if Roy complies with the bank guarantee as the company promised.
